Meatza!

How do you cut down on carbs, but still eat pizza? You make the crust out of meat, well sausage to be exact. I was tired of just eating the toppings off the pizza when we ordered take-out. You can’t imagine my joy when it worked the first time I tried it. No longer do we have to look at the sad naked crusts in the box. Here’s the dealio:

Remove the casing and press 3-4 fresh sausages, we like hot Italian, evenly into a round pizza pan and bake in the oven at 375F for about 10-15 minutes or until brown. Don’t forget to drain the crust around the 7 minute mark. Once browned & cooked through layer with favourite toppings and cheese, return to oven until cheese is melted and browning. Not only is this filling, but super tasty and perfect after a day on the ski hill.
